Free Delivery on Orders Above Rs. 2,999 | Order via WhatsApp — It's Easy

A custom phone case costs Rs. 1,499 and takes three days from idea to your doorstep. Here's exactly how it works.

You pick a design. We print it on a premium metal case. It arrives at your house. That's it — no hidden charges, no "design fee," no waiting two weeks. This is the complete guide to custom phone cases in Pakistan, written by the people who actually make them.

TL;DR

Custom phone case = Rs. 1,499 all-in. WhatsApp us your design (photo, name, sketch, or just an idea). We send a mockup within hours. You approve. We print and deliver in 3 working days. Works for every phone model sold in Pakistan. If you don't like it, return within 7 days.

Nine out of ten people overthink custom phone cases

Here's the thing about custom phone cases: most people spend longer deciding whether to order one than it takes us to make one.

They worry the print will fade. (It won't — UV printing bonds to the metal, not sits on top of it. UV curing creates a permanent chemical bond.) They worry the image won't look right. (We send a mockup first. You see exactly what you're getting before we print.) They worry it's too expensive. (It's Rs. 1,499. That's less than two Zinger burgers with delivery.)

I've been selling phone cases long enough to know that the only real mistake is buying a generic clear case that yellows in six weeks and looks exactly like every other phone on the Lahore Metro. (No offence to clear cases. Some of my best friends are clear cases. They just have no personality.)

This guide covers everything: what types of custom cases exist, how to design your own phone cover without being a designer, what it costs, how long it takes, and what actually matters when choosing a custom phone case in Pakistan. If you're looking for ready-made designs, browse our custom cases collection or check what's available for iPhone models specifically.

The four types of custom phone cases (and which one you actually want)

The UV-printed metal case is the sweet spot. It costs about as much as a decent dinner out, it lasts the life of your phone, and the print is part of the case — not a sticker on top of it. This is what we make at CaseWalay, and honestly, it's what I'd buy even if I didn't work here.

Those Rs. 400 insert cases from the mobile market? The design slips around, the paper creases, and three weeks later it looks like a photocopy that got left in the rain. Buy once. (This is not me upselling. I'd tell you the same thing over chai.)

According to Statista, the global phone accessories market crossed $80 billion in 2024 — and customization is the fastest-growing segment. People want cases that look like them, not cases that look like everyone else.

You don't need design skills. You need WhatsApp.

The process: you send an idea, we send a mockup, you approve. Photo by Rann Vijay via Pexels.

Here's how people actually design their own phone cover with us:

  1. You WhatsApp us your idea. Could be a photo of your cat. Could be a screenshot of a Pinterest design. Could be the words "make it look like the night sky over Hunza, but make it cool." We've seen worse briefs.
  2. We create a mockup. Usually within a few hours. You see exactly how your case will look — on your specific phone model. Camera cutout, button placement, everything.
  3. You say yes (or no, or "can you make the stars slightly more dramatic"). Changes are free. This isn't one of those services where revision two costs extra.
  4. We print and deliver. Three working days. That's it.

The point is: you don't need Canva. You don't need Photoshop. You don't need to "have an eye for design." You need an idea and a WhatsApp number. We handle the rest. Once you have your case, you might want to check our FAQ page for care tips — though honestly, these cases don't need much babying.

Got an idea? Send it on WhatsApp.

We'll create a free mockup. You approve before we print.

What actual customers put on their cases

The internet will tell you custom cases are for "expressing your unique identity" or whatever. Here's what people in Pakistan actually order:

1. Wedding photos.

By far the most popular category. A couple's photo on a metal case. Sometimes with the wedding date. Sometimes with both names in Urdu calligraphy. We've done hundreds of these. (Pro tip nobody asked for: pick a photo where both of you look good. Not the one where you look great and your spouse is mid-blink. That becomes a conversation. Every time.)

2. Names in Arabic or Urdu calligraphy.

Single names. Couple names. Words like Tawakkul, Shukr, Sabr, Haya, Wafa. Persian-style calligraphy on a dark metal case. These are consistently our most-ordered designs — and the ones people stop strangers to ask about. Our custom cases page has a full Persian calligraphy series if you want to browse before designing your own.

3. Cultural patterns.

Sindhi Ajrak. Persian rugs. Truck art motifs. Islamic geometric patterns. These aren't just cases — they're wearable heritage. A customer in Karachi once told us her Ajrak case gets more compliments than her designer handbag. (The handbag cost 15 times more. Do with that what you will.)

4. Pets.

Dogs. Cats. A surprisingly large number of parrots. If you have a photo of your pet making a face, someone wants that on their phone. (My personal favourite: a customer who put his cat's extremely unimpressed expression on his case. Now every time he checks his phone, his cat judges him. Art imitates life.)

5. Business logos.

Cafes, clothing brands, salons, tech startups. They order 10–20 cases for their team. It's marketing that lives in people's hands. A walking billboard that also protects a phone.

"I ordered a custom case with my nikkah photo. My husband saw it and immediately ordered one for himself. Now we have matching cases. My friends say it's cringe. I say they're jealous." — Fatima, Islamabad

What nobody tells you about custom phone case quality

Not all custom printing is the same. Walk through any mobile market and you'll find stalls offering "custom cases" for Rs. 500. Here's what you need to know before you hand over your money — or your favourite photo.

Sublimation printing (cheap stalls) transfers ink onto a coated surface with heat. It works. For a while. Then the edges start peeling. The colours fade. Six months in, your wedding photo looks like a ghost at a fog machine.

UV direct printing (what we use) is different. UV light cures the ink directly into the metal surface. The ink becomes part of the case. It doesn't sit on top. It doesn't peel because there's nothing to peel. A UV-printed case looks the same on day 400 as it did on day 1.

Rule of thumb: if someone offers you a custom case for under Rs. 800, ask what printing method they use. If they can't answer, walk away. You're buying a sticker on a cheap case.

Rs. 1,499. That's the number. Here's why.

Let me give you honest numbers. No "starting at." No "as low as." Here's what a custom metal case costs and why:

  • Premium metal case blank: We don't use the Rs. 100 wholesale cases. Ours are dual-layer — rigid metal back with shock-absorbing TPU edges. They survive drops.
  • UV printing: Per-unit cost is higher than bulk sublimation. But the print lasts years, not months.
  • Design time: Someone actually looks at your image, adjusts it for the camera cutout, and sends you a mockup. This takes time. We don't charge for it separately.
  • Delivery: Free on orders above Rs. 2,999. Otherwise, standard courier rates. See our return and exchange policy for shipping details.

The market rate for a similar UV-printed metal case is Rs. 2,000–2,500. Ours is Rs. 1,499. The difference is we make them in-house — no middleman, no retail markup, no "brand tax."

Those Rs. 5,000+ imported cases? Some are genuinely good. Most are just a logo on the same Chinese blank we use, marked up 4x because the packaging looks premium. Buy local. The case doesn't care where the company is incorporated.

When NOT to order a custom case

This is the part where I talk you out of giving us money. (This is also the part generic blog posts never write, because generic blog posts want your credit card.)

Don't order a custom case if you change your phone every six months. The case fits one model. When you upgrade, the case doesn't come with you. Wait until you're settled with a phone you'll keep for a year or more.

Don't order if you need it tomorrow. UV printing plus delivery takes three working days. If your sister's wedding is tonight and you need a custom case for the outfit — we can't do it. (WhatsApp us anyway. We might have something ready-made that works.)

Don't order if the photo you're sending is a 50KB WhatsApp forward from 2019. The print is only as good as the image. If it's blurry on your screen, it'll be blurry on a case. Send us the original. We'll tell you honestly if it'll print well.

Straight answers to questions we get every day

What phone models do you make custom cases for?

Every major brand sold in Pakistan. iPhone (all models), Samsung Galaxy (S, A, M, Z series), OnePlus, Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Infinix, Tecno, Google Pixel, Nothing Phone, Huawei, Honor. If your model isn't on the list, WhatsApp us. We'll check.

Can you print any image on a phone case?

Yes, with one caveat: the image needs to be high enough resolution. As a rule of thumb, if it looks clear on your phone screen at full zoom, it'll print fine. If it's pixelated, we'll warn you before printing. We'd rather lose a sale than send you something disappointing.

How long does a custom printed phone case last?

The metal case itself will outlast your phone. The print — because it's UV-cured into the surface — doesn't fade or peel. I've been using the same custom case for 14 months and the only wear is a tiny scratch on the edge from the time I dropped it getting out of a rickshaw. (The phone was fine. The case did its job.)

Can I return a custom case if I don't like it?

Custom cases are printed on demand specifically for you, so we can't accept returns for "changed my mind." That said, if there's a manufacturing defect — misaligned print, wrong colour, case doesn't fit — we'll remake it at zero cost. You approve the mockup before we print, so what you see is what you get. Full details in our return policy.

What's the difference between a custom case and a personalized phone cover?

Same thing. Some people say "personalized phone cover," some say "custom phone case," some say "design your own phone cover." It all means the same thing: you provide the design, we put it on a case. Potato, potahto. Cover, case. Nobody's keeping score.

How much do custom phone cases cost in Pakistan?

Rs. 1,499 for a premium metal case with UV printing. That's the all-in price — design mockup, printing, case. Delivery is free on orders above Rs. 2,999. No hidden fees. No "design charge." No "processing fee." We quote one number and that's the number.

Do custom cases work with wireless charging?

Yes. The metal back doesn't interfere with wireless charging or MagSafe. We've tested this. (My desk has exactly four wireless chargers on it. This is not an exaggeration. Send help.)

The one thing that actually matters

You'll see a lot of advice about custom phone cases. Resolution requirements. Material comparisons. Design trends for 2026. Most of it is noise.

Here's what actually matters: you're going to touch your phone roughly 150 times today. Every time you do, you'll see the back of it. If that surface has a photo you love, a design that means something, or art that makes you smile — that's 150 small moments of happiness you didn't have before.

Or it could be a clear case that went yellow in March.

Your call.
